Bonjour honey!
To the ladies who replied to my last entry, I just wanna say thanks. I hope I didn't come off as a whiny child, but I was just really disappointed in everything and needed to vent a bit. I'm happy that people can understand and still be really nice and cheer me up. The belated wishes are absolutely welcome and appreciated. ♥

On more frivolous matters: I need anime suggestions! Action, adventure, comedy, serious shows are most welcome. Romance (aka cutesy/girly), vampire (except Hellsing) sports stuff is not. :P

I finally caught up with a few shows and the Soul Eater ending left me so wtf-ed and had so many loose ends that I almost don't want to cosplay Stein anymore. :/ Glass Fleet = dandy-fied version of Utena. My sixth sense about finding good shows has never been so off..

I also need a new layout. -_-

It's about 7 years old. Came out as an anime in 2002. Still looks quite good if you ask me. Akabane especially looks like a really interesting character. Here from Wikipedia:

"The series tells the story of Ginji Amano and Ban Mido, a pair of superpowered individuals known as the GetBackers. The duo operates a freelance repossession service (奪還屋, dakkanya?) out of one of the seedier areas of Shinjuku, Tokyo. For a fee, they will recover any lost or stolen item for a client with "a 100% success rate".

The GetBackers' job often leads them into bizarre and dangerous situations in order to "get back what shouldn't be gone". Their targets range from lost video games to misplaced components of an atomic bomb. The plot mostly revolves around their adventures, often complicated by the pair's convoluted, individual pasts and a mysterious place known as the Infinite Castle"

Sounds a bit like Devil May Cry to me, maybe? But probably better. I didn't like DMC. Basically, two freelancers that do work getting things for people. From what I saw, though, it seemed pretty good. Ginji had electric powers and Ban had some sort of cursed eyes that could create illusions and see through them, I think. Akabane is an ex-Doctor that kills people rather stylishly with a scalpel. He's not a main character but I think he was introduced pretty early on and I remember liking him.
