Winter Synopsis so far:

I'm back home for winter break and we'll see how long I can last with this internet connection. For some reason it's slower than ever. :(

Ferrah's not staying with my family for Christmas, and we said our goodbyes before she leaves for London in 2 weeks. It breaks my heart to see one of my closest friends leave forever, but I think something happened to all of us when we realized that her fucked up childhood and extreme confidence issues are something even the best friendships couldn't overcome.

I decided it would be counter-productive to only ask for heels and sneakers for Christmas and then go get foot surgery. xD So I won't be doing it and I suppose my bones will stay crooked for life. :/ But at least, this means I can enjoy New's Years and the Eddie Izzard show without the worry of being on crutches or painkillers..

Scraping eight inches off my car today was rather relaxing.

I need days to be about 14 hours longer so I can actually play Atlantica and feel productive all in one.

I'm very very excited about learning Ba Gua Zhang from Sean next semester. And so is he, since he'd been trying to convince me to learn something since he started teaching. I found a few open introduction classes in the city and we'll see where I can go from there.. Thankfully, Ba Gua's more about evasion and movement than actual physical contact, otherwise I'd be covered in bruises for the next 6 months. >

Deg show number 6? 7? million?

This day was made much more memorable by the fact that I drove back into NY from Connecticut without freaking out or dying. (go me!)

So after a quick nap and shower at home, I ran off to meet Michelle.
Also, three cheers for finally being 21. I bought some rum just cause I could. (and cause I got addicted to coke again)

As for the actual concert, I had to say it was mediocre compared to some of the other Deg shows I've seen. And a bit of my own fault too. Sadly, I forgot to listen to Uroboros ahead of time, so I have absolutely no clue which songs they played. However, they also played Obscure and The Final, so that got everyone real crazy. At one point the crowd tilted and nearly the entire front fell over. (lol)
Toshiya looked much better than some of his crazy-hair pics, and everyone looked like their usual selves. Kyo seemed to be in a good mood, he kept trying to hide his smile but we could see it. :P

DUDE, THE FUNK. Seriously, I had the bad luck of always ending up next to an extremely sweaty guy, which very disgusting. It killed half my enthusiasm, I couldn't even really cheer properly because I'd had to touch them and I would end up damp because of that. D8

There were signatures after, but of course too many people to even consider it. :/ Got a very nice macabre poster from the show, and maybe one day Michelle will remember to put up the pictures and videos she took during the show. (not likely though XD)

Dear ...,

I miss You. I love our phone calls, I wish they were more often. I wish You would stop giving me that look, judgment can cross over to hate pretty quickly. I want You to realize that I love hanging out with you and I'm selfish about your company. I wish You would stop being a bitch, we criticize because we care. I wish we could go out for drinks, even if You don't like alcohol. I'm secretly looking forward to having You all to myself next semester. I think when You leave, I won't cry anymore. I wish You lived closer. I wish You didn't have a girlfriend. I also kinda want You to be less intimidatingly-awesome. I want You back in my life, I think we would get along even better now. I want You to grow up a little and be less racist. :/ I wish You still lived on campus, you manage to calm me down. You don't give yourself enough credit. I'm a bit happier now that You stay away. I'm scared of how easy it was to let You go. I'll cling to You forever. I hope You grow up soon, you have so much potential. I want Myself to be more social.

From,
xxx

This semester is not being kind to me in terms of money.

Also, after tons of medications, doctor exams and xrays, seems I developed pneumonia. Which doesn't bother me as much as the extreme rib pain that started this week as a result from coughing nonstop for the past month. I spoke with a friend who's studying medicine and says the pain is the same as if I'd broken a rib. Which explains why I sincerely believed I'd cracked a rib. :/ Coughing, breathing, laughing, lifting stuff HURTS. Ow.

<lj-embed id="23" />

I think this is my favorite Red vs. Blue moment ever.

I just spent the past 3 hours tagging my LJ. ._.
Hard work.

I NEED these Zara boots.

And since they only come in silver, I'll get prism nail polish and make them look like this:

They would go great with that gouk hoodie and some skinny jeans. D:

Hmm.

I have become jaded about college life, that I feel utterly useless. I see a pattern forming for my life. I'm not happy unless I get a change of scenery every few years. I believe I have social ADHD

It would help my attitude if all my friends weren't graduating this year. I still have a year left here after this, and I'll be alone. Things aren't wonderful, but they don't suck either. This semester is just going with the moment.

I've been "sick" for 2 weeks. After a too-long time in a cold bus back from New York, I developed a horrible cough that refuses to leave my system. My abs actually hurt from having to hack up a lung every ten minutes. And now I'm taking horse sized antibiotics because the very knowledge doctors don't know what's wrong with me. =__=

I've gotten more comfortable with driving. I no longer have to mentally prepare myself to actually get in the car and drive. Despite one or two sketchy moments. >_>;

日本語のクラスの宿題がたくさんあったし、漢字を覚えらなくて、春休みに勉強すればいいよかっただ。
Seriously, Japanese will probably be my hardest class this semester, since I hadn't taken a class in over a year. But at least it's fun, and doesn't leave me narcoleptic like Accounting. (shudder) My sensei's really nice and helpful because at the moment I SUCK. o_o

I feel like my friends are just ignoring me lately. Makes me sad. :(

MONEY. I have none, and seriously need a lot. I don't know what to do.

I think this gouk hoodie will make me happier.

I'm so lazy that I'm not moving the two feet to my bed. And I'm getting sleepy. KILL ME.

1. Put your music player on 'random'. Skip songs with not-very interesting titles (such as ''Concerto #4 in E minor')
2. List the titles of the first 25 songs to come up.
3. Put 'in my pants' after each title.
4. Bold the ones that actually make you laugh.

1. Scummy Justice in my pants
2. Satsuki in my pants. (I wouldn't mind)
3. In motion in my pants (lol)
4. POSE in my pants
5. We never change in my pants
6. Slow in my pants
7. She can be so cold in my pants (lol)
8. Fascism in my pants
9. Wanderlust in my pants
10. Road to the west in my pants
11. Open in my pants
12. Free fall in my pants
13. Ophelia in my pants
14. Believe in my pants (have faith! they're just that awesome)
15. Panic in Detroit in my pants
16. Heroes in my pants (lol)
17. This Day, This Rain in my pants (aw, soggy pants are no fun)
18. Stop Bloody rain in my pants (medical emergency wtf?)
19.
Red vs Blue is Obsession #I-lost-count. And I'd thought there was only the original 100 episodes. BUT THERE'S MORE. As in, episodes are still being released after all these years. So I've spent 2 days catching up on everything, good times. :D
I'd recommend it if we have similar tastes.

Icon has changed accordingly.

As soon as I can drag myself to my car, I promise I'll get off LJ and actually do something... >_>

26 random questions:

1. You can press a button that will make any one person explode. Who would you blow up?
Not sure. I'd rather auction that button off on ebay.

2. You can flip a switch that will wipe any band or musical artist off the earth?
Mariah Carey

3. Who would you really like to just punch in the face?
You.

4. What is your favorite cheese?
I DON'T EAT CHEESE.

5. You can only have one kind of sandwich. Every sandwich ingredient known to humankind is at your immediate disposal.
Um, a super special make you sick sandwich: chive omelete, grilled chicken, romaine lettuce, bourbon chipotle sauce, and some falafel pieces thrown in for fun. *_*

6. You have the opportunity to sleep with the movie-celebrity of your choice. Who would it be?
Milo Ventigmilia. Or Mizushima Hiro. Or Jude Law.

7. You have the opportunity to sleep with the music-celebrity of your choice. Same rules as above. Who is it?
Miyaviiiii (duh)

8. Now that you've slept with two different people in a row, you seem to be having an excellent day because you just came across a hundred-dollar bill on the sidewalk. Holy shit, a hundred bucks! How are you gonna spend it?
A nice slice of chocolate cake. And maybe some new headphones.

9. You just got a free plane ticket to anywhere. You have to depart right now. Where are you gonna go?
Tokyo

10. Upon arrival to the aforementioned location, you get off the plane and discover another hundred-dollar bill. Shit! Now that you are in the new location, where are you gonna go to spend that?
Naoto Heaven, at top speed please.

11. A genie appears and offers you a lifetime supply of the alcoholic beverage of your choice.
Stairway to Heaven

12. Rufus appears out of nowhere with a time-traveling phone booth. You can go anytime in the PAST. What time are you traveling to and what are you going to do when you get there?
1920's Chicago, JAZZ CLUB TIME.

13. You discover a beautiful island upon which you may build your own society. You make the rules. What is the first rule you put into place?
Rule #1: Stupid people die.

14. You have been given the opportunity to create the half-hour TV show of your own design. What is it called and what's the premise?
Sexy Talk Time, and it would probably just feature snippets of the conversations my school friends and I have. Because DAMN WE'RE WEIRD.

15. What is your favorite expletive?
I'm not very creative, usually just "fuckshitlife" (Yes, one word)

16. One night you wake up because you heard a noise. You turn on the light to find that you are surrounded by MUMMIES. The mummies aren't really doing anything, they're just standing around your bed. What do you do?
Have a laughing fit, then freak out Soul Eater style.

17. Your house is on fire, holy shit! You have just enough time to run in there and grab ONE inanimate object. Don't worry, your loved ones and pets have already made it out safely. So what's the one thing you're going to save from that blazing inferno?
All my memoirs are in a box, thus it's one item.

18. The Grim Reaper has descended upon you. Fortunately, the Grim Reaper is pretty cool and in a good mood, and it offers you a half-hour to do whatever you want before you bite it. Whatcha gonna do in that half-hour?
Listen to my favorite song or two, jump miyavi's skinny ass, kill someone for the experience, and drive really fast on the highway.

19. You accidentally eat some radioactive vegetables. They were good, and what's even cooler is that they endow you with the super-power of your choice! What's it gonna be?
Forget audio engineering, I want sound manipulation.

20. You can re-live any point of time in your life. The time-span can only be a half-hour, though. What half-hour of your past would you like to experience again?
That last half hour of the hide memorial summit. I'd probably try to work my way down into the lower stage this time around.

21. You can erase any horrible experience from your past. What will it be?
That thing, yes, that thing.

22. You got kicked out of the country for being a time-traveling heathen who sleeps with celebrities and has super-powers. But check out this cool shit... you can move to anywhere else in the world!
 Where will you move?
Madrid, here I come!

23. This question still counts, even for those of you who are under age. Check it out. You have been eternally banned from every single bar in the world except for ONE. Which one is it gonna be?
Got no favorite bar, so :P

24. Hopefully you didn't mention this in the super-powers question.... If you did, then we'll just expand on that. Check it out... Suddenly, you have gained the ability to FLOAT!!! Whose house are you going to float to first, and be like "Dude, check it out, I can fucking FLOAT!!"
Kim's.

25. The constant absorption of magical moonbeams mixed with the radioactive vegetables you consumed earlier have given you the ability to resurrect the dead famous-person of your choice. So which late celebrity will you bring back to life?
hide

26. The Celestial Gates Of Beyond have opened, much to your surprise because you didn't think such a thing existed. Death appears. As it turns out, Death is actually a pretty cool entity, and happens to be in a fantastic mood. Death offers to return the friend/family-member/person/etc. of your choice to the living world. Who will you bring back?
My grandmother.

~

Pick the month you were born:
January-------I kicked
February------I loved
March--------I karate chopped
April----------I licked
May----------I jumped on
June---------- I danced with
July-----------I did the Macarena With
August--------I had lunch with
September---- I sang to
October-------I smelled
November-----I yelled at
December-----I ran over

Pick the day (number) you were born on:
1-------a birdbath
2-------a monster
3-------a phone
4-------a fork
5-------a snowman
6-------a nun
7-------my mobile phone
8-------my dog
9-------my best friend
10-------my neighbor
11-------my science teacher
12-------a banana
13-------a baseball bat
14-------a stuffed animal
15-------a goat
16-------a pickle
17-------your mom
18-------a spoon
19-------my boss
20-------a fireman
21-------a ninja
22------- Chuck Norris
23-------a noodle
24-------a squirrel
25-------a troll
26-------my sister
27-------a Smurf
28-------a homeless guy
29-------a surfer
30-------a football player
31-------a llama

What is the last number of the year you were born:
1--------- in my car
2 -------- on a motorcycle
3 -------- in a hole
4 -------- under your bed
5 -------- on your car
6 -------- on a roof
7 -------- in an elevator
8--------- at the dinner table
9 -------- in line at the bank
0 -------- in your bathroom

Pick the color of shirt you are wearing:
White--------because I'm cool like that
Black--------because I was drinking tequila, again.
Pink----------because I'm only in it for the good times.
Red----------because the voices told me to.
Blue----------because I'm sexy and I do what I want
Green-------because I think I need some serious help.
Purple-------because I'm AWESOME!
Gray---------because Big Bird said to and he's my leader.
Yellow-------because someone offered me 20 dollars
Orange -----because my I saw it on the Internet.
Brown-------because I can.
Other--------because it sounded like a good idea!
None--------because I can't control myself!

Now type out the sentence you made!

I jumped on a football player at the dinner table because it sounded like a good idea!

That sounds like it would hurt.

Love Perfect

I'm angry, of 4 textbooks that I ordered weeks ago, only 1 has arrived. ARGH.

On the other hand, the Blam Honey album I bought five days ago just arrived from JAPAN. How does this make sense? I've only heard three songs so far, but it seems to be quite the experience.

I have discovered the bottom of the barrel: weepingcock and I am horrified for life. I can't look away. o_o

+ Haven't played Atlantica in about 1.5 weeks. Haven't missed it for half of that. (Don't even feel guilty about it)
+ Death Note has taken over my life.
+ Mello's birthday, incidentally, is also hide's birthday.
+ Girl!Matt is my new kink.
+ Surprisingly, the idea of previous point had never occurred to me in all these years.
+ There is a cute guy named Mihael (unpronounceable Russian last name) in my accounting class.
+ Seems it is naturally ordained for every Accounting/Economics/Mathematical trend class to lull me to sleep within 10 minutes.
+ My accounting prof sounds/even looks like the Bueller guy.
+ I have 20 dollars to my name, and can't beg the folks for cash. It's scary.
+ Thank god I have a full tank of gas.
+ The pain of driving has decreased by 8%. CT is much easier than NY.
+ I only have 9GB of harddrive space left on my laptop. Now what?
+ Reviewing 3 years of Japanese in 5 days? Not a chance.
+ 8 hours of sleep a day is NOT enough for me.
+ I don't appreciate having L-esque shadows under my eyes.
+ I wish I could go to NYAF. The theme is Soul Eater. :(
+ 300+ STITCHES PEOPLE. I deserve to go just for that.
